Panther L/L was founded on May 16, 1988 by Chuck McElyea, Bobby Dunning, and Danny Doss to serve the needs of the Atlanta Leather Community and its members. Over the years, we have had some amazing men and women be a part of this organization. With their hard work and the amazing support of the people around us, we have donated an estimated $300,000+ to charitable organizations which align with the needs of our community and its members. We have been very proud to hang our colors in the Heretic and, finally, back at home at the Atlanta Eagle.
During the past thirty-one years, the Panthers have been proud to support and foster multiple leather-people along their journeys to become regional and international titleholders and hosted events such as Prowl, A Nightmare on Ponce, and monthly bar nights at the Atlanta Eagle.
It is with a heavy heart that the current Full Members of Panther L/L have made the decision that it is time for Panther L/L to commence with club dissolution. While we members individually still fully support our Community and its needs, we feel that, as an organization, we can go no further. We want to express the deepest possible thanks to everyone who has been a part of our club, either by membership or providing support, along the way.
The members of Panther L/L will be hosting a celebration in the coming weeks to retire the club’s colors and hang them in the Atlanta Eagle, where they will be permanently displayed. Watch social media for the announcement of this special event.
We would like to wish all the best to our brother and sister clubs who have helped us remain Atlanta’s premier Leather/Levi club, and please know that we are always here for you all.
