We are currently CLOSED because of Covid.
We are a private membership club. As Florida’s fastest-growing alternative lifestyle, BDSM fetish club, and Tampa Bay’s kinky community center, we present numerous classes, demonstrations, play events, and host community groups. If you haven’t attended in a while, we expanded in December of 2018, doubling our space. With two main event spaces and a separate classroom, we now have 5,000 square feet in our facility.
We do NOT permit sex, alcohol, or drugs. (And we REALLY MEAN IT.)
We welcome anyone 18+ years of age regardless of gender, orientation, or relationship status. Yes, even if you’re single.
We are NOT a strip club and do NOT have “shows.” We do not let people in “just to look around.” PLEASE read the information here on our website BEFORE you arrive so you understand what it is that we do.
If you’re looking for the truth behind the “Fifty Shades” phenomenon, you’ve come to the right place! Our all-volunteer staff is happy to answer your questions if you’re new to or curious about the lifestyle.
Parking is plentiful and free!
You may bring your own food. Beverages brought in must be in a new, SEALED container. NO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES ALLOWED. Non-alcoholic beer is NOT allowed. You may bring your own empty cup or bottle for water, etc.
Our facility is wheelchair accessible. If you need a special accommodation for a disability, please let our staff know so we can help arrange it for you.
We no longer provide blankets or towels due to Covid–you must bring your own.
About Us
The Tampa Bay Phoenix Club began as a concept where people from all aspects of the alternative/kink/fetish lifestyles could come together in friendship and explore techniques safely and comfortably. Here you will find a diverse group of people who share the same desire to practice and learn in an environment that promotes continuing education, and doing so in a SAFE, SANE AND CONSENSUAL manner. We have members ranging from 18-80+ in age, from the het and LGBTQA+ communities, cis/trans/non-binary, and a wide spectrum of alternative lifestyle/kink practices.
While we are a “BDSM club” we consider ourselves a “kinky community center.” That’s because we have a diverse group of people from a wide range of lifestyle experiences who attend events. Everything from rope/shibari groups to poly vanilla game nights, to heavy BDSM play nights, and everything in between. If you’re interested in the BDSM lifestyle and new to it, you are welcomed to come in and talk to our staff and get your questions answered.
We strive to bring you presenters and demonstrators and to offer workshops after presentations to let you practice your new skills in a comfortable and fun way. The Phoenix Club is staffed solely by volunteers who are dedicated to bringing you one of the safest places to play at a reasonable price. We were all members before we joined the team. And no, we don’t use discriminatory gender-based pricing tactics. We want anyone and everyone (18+) who wants to join and attend events to feel welcome at our facility.
We felt we needed to add this, because we get a lot of questions about this. Here are the things we are NOT:
